“Art is not just what you see, but what you make others feel.”

An artist can share a powerful message without saying anything

Art encompasses a wide spectrum of human activities, from creating visual, auditory, or performative works to expressing imaginative and conceptual ideas with technical skill. It is intended to be appreciated not only for its beauty but also for the emotional power it conveys.

As an artist, I believe that powerful messages can be communicated without words. Through my artwork, I reflect on the events and experiences unfolding around me. Like many indigenous people, I feel a deep connection to my birthplace, and I seek to share that connection with my audience—but in a way that challenges conventional perspectives, offering a view that is often unseen.

My work primarily focuses on human figures, depicting themes of pain and the loss of belonging. These figures are in a state of constant search, yearning for a new beginning and a place to call home. As an artist from a marginalized community, I am drawn to subjects that resonate with my origins and identity.

Through my art, I aspire to inspire future artists from my community to explore not only the beauty of the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) but also the deep sorrows that lie beneath the surface.
